Grow your book with a modern NJ FMO.
Yumi Health is a New Jersey FMO that gives independent producers — whether you want full support or full commission — the tools, leads, and back-office to build a real Medicare and ACA practice — without building it alone.
What you get
Everything you need to produce — nothing you don't.
Most FMOs hand you a contracting packet and walk away. Yumi staffs the teams that build the CRM, generate the leads, and run the back-office so you can focus on clients.
Modern CRM — built in-house
Yumi CRM is purpose-built for Medicare and ACA producers in NJ. Lead pipeline, SOA capture, e-signatures, policy tracking, automated outreach, and commission ledger — all in one login. No spreadsheets, no Frankenstein stack of third-party tools.
Real inbound leads
Leads come from our own consumer marketing engine — pre-screened by insurance type, county, and coverage need. Routed within one hour (hot SLA). You see one agent per lead. No aged lists, no shared pools.
TrueCost™ quoting engine
Our proprietary TrueCost™ engine runs a real cost projection — premiums, copays, drug costs, deductibles — on any plan in seconds. Impresses clients and closes more enrollments than generic side-by-side comparisons.
E-app & paperless enrollment
Electronic CMS-compliant Scope of Appointment (no waiting period), e-signature enrollment, formulary and provider lookup, and document storage. No paper trail, no missing forms, no compliance headaches.
Marketing + compliance support
CMS-approved marketing templates, co-branded materials, $500/month reimbursement for Medicare-contracted producers, carrier co-op funds passthrough, and a compliance officer who reviews edge cases year-round.
Back-office + commissions handled
Contracting, RTS status tracking, chargeback resolution, AHIP reminders, and commission reconciliation — all handled by our ops team. Commissions are tracked in the CRM and paid out via QuickBooks with direct deposit.

Two tracks. Pick the one that fits.
Newer agents usually want everything covered so they can focus on selling. Established producers often want maximum commission and the freedom to run their own shop. Yumi supports both — and you can renegotiate each contract year.
Track A — Yumi Covered (1099)
You focus on selling — Yumi provides the leads, tools and back-office. We split the commission in return.

Training & Support
From day one through every AEP.
A structured 30-day onboarding track, AHIP and CE guidance, ongoing product training, compliance support, and a back-office team that handles the paperwork.
30-day structured onboarding
Carrier contracting, AHIP certification, CRM training, product deep-dives (Medicare Advantage, Medigap, Part D, ACA), and a sales script library — all built into the first 30 days. New agents are matched with a senior producer for field ride-alongs.
AHIP + certification guidance
We walk you through the AHIP exam, carrier-specific certifications, and annual recertification calendars. AHIP is fully reimbursed for Track A producers. Track B producers can apply for reimbursement once they hit production thresholds.
Ongoing training library

CMS, SOA & HIPAA compliance
A full-time compliance officer manages CMS rule updates, NJ DOBI requirements, and agent marketing reviews. SOA workflows, call recordings, and enrollment files are stored and retained for 10 years — handled for Track A agents entirely.
Real back-office team
Contracting, RTS tracking, licensing transfers, appointment status, chargeback resolution — our ops team runs it. You focus on clients, not carrier portals. Ticket SLA: 1 business day for urgent issues.
Commissions
How you get paid — step by step.
Carriers pay commissions. Yumi tracks, reconciles, and pays out via QuickBooks with direct deposit. Transparent statements every month.
You enroll a client
Complete the enrollment through HealthSherpa, the carrier portal, or the Yumi e-app. The policy is captured in your CRM client record.
Carrier pays commission
NJ Medicare Advantage carriers pay up to $864 per new member (2026 rates) and $432 per renewal. ACA, Medigap, and ancillary lines pay their standard first-year and renewal rates — always full street.
Yumi reconciles in QuickBooks
Our back-office matches carrier statements against your CRM enrollments. Any chargebacks or discrepancies are flagged and resolved before your pay date. You see every line item.
Direct deposit to your account
Both tracks are paid monthly by ACH direct deposit through the QuickBooks contractor portal — Track A after the commission split, Track B at 100%. You get monthly statements with every line item. No checks, no guessing.

FAQ
Questions agents ask us.
Do I need my own leads?+
No. Yumi runs its own NJ consumer marketing engine that generates inbound Medicare and ACA leads — routed to contracted producers via the CRM. Leads are not shared, resold, or aged. You also receive pre-set appointments from our intake team. If you have your own lead sources, you can bring them into the CRM and they stay 100% yours.
Which carriers am I appointed with?+
Medicare Advantage & Part D: UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Humana, Wellcare, Cigna, Horizon BCBSNJ, AmeriHealth NJ, Clover Health, Braven Health, Devoted Health. Medigap: AARP/UHC, Mutual of Omaha, Cigna, Aetna, Humana, Anthem, BCBSNJ. ACA Marketplace (Get Covered NJ): Horizon BCBSNJ, AmeriHealth NJ, Aetna, Wellpoint NJ, Fidelis Care. Ancillary (dental, vision, hospital indemnity, final expense): Delta Dental NJ, VSP, EyeMed, Aflac, Mutual of Omaha — same-day appointments available.
Track A vs. Track B — which is right for me?+
Both tracks are 1099. Track A (Yumi Covered) gives you the most support — company leads, the CRM and tools, AHIP/E&O and full back-office — in exchange for a commission split. Track B (Street 100%) is better if you want to keep 100% of your commission and run your own book. Most newer agents start with Track A; established producers with their own book often choose Track B. You can renegotiate tracks at each contract year.
How fast can I start writing business?+
Ancillary lines (dental, hospital indemnity, final expense): same-day appointments. ACA and most Medigap carriers: 5–10 business days. Medicare Advantage and Part D: 2–4 weeks because carriers require AHIP certification, NJ DOBI license verification, and Ready-To-Sell (RTS) processing. Yumi tracks every step in your CRM dashboard.
Do you help with AHIP?+
Yes. We walk you through the AHIP exam registration, guide you through the modules, and alert you to your certification deadline each year. Track A producers are fully reimbursed. Track B producers can apply for reimbursement once they hit the minimum production threshold. CE credit courses for NJ are also tracked and supported.
How are commissions paid and how transparent is it?+
Carrier commissions are reconciled monthly in QuickBooks against your CRM enrollment records. You see every line item — enrollment date, carrier, plan, first-year rate, and renewal rate. ACH direct deposit is issued monthly for both tracks. Chargebacks are flagged before your pay date — no surprises.
Do I have to give up my existing FMO contracts?+
For Medicare Advantage and Part D, carriers enforce a single-FMO rule — switching requires a written release from your current FMO and a 6-month re-appointment waiting period under CMS rules. For Medigap, ACA, and ancillary lines you can typically dual-appoint. Yumi walks you through the release process and which lines are immediately portable before you sign.
What does it cost to contract with Yumi?+
$0 for producers. CRM access, leads, training, and back-office support are all included. Yumi is compensated via carrier FMO overrides — the same way Pinnacle and other FMOs are paid. Your producer commission is never touched. The override is on top of your street rate, not deducted from it.
