Hospital Indemnity
Cash benefits when you're admitted — designed to offset Medicare Advantage hospital copays.

What hospital indemnity covers
Hospital indemnity pays a fixed cash benefit for each day you spend in a hospital, regardless of what your primary plan does. The benefit comes directly to you, not the hospital — you can use it for copays, deductibles, lost wages, groceries, or anything else.
The most common Medicare Advantage stack pairs an MA plan with hospital indemnity to neutralize the inpatient daily copay (typically $295–$395/day for the first 5–7 days). A $300/day indemnity benefit effectively turns that copay into $0 out of pocket.
